A system is a set of connected parts that produces patterns of behavior and outcomes over time.

In MNKY Math, systems are not limited to machines, software, or organizations. A policy can function as a system. A metric can become part of a system. A process becomes a system once it begins shaping repeated behavior.

A system is not defined only by its design or purpose. It is defined by the patterns it produces.
