MNKY Math is built as a digital garden. It can be explored through links, definitions, neighbors, articles, ideas, and paths that branch.
But sometimes you may not want to wander.
Sometimes you may want a path.
Journeys are curated reading paths through MNKY Math. Each Journey sequences selected pages so you can move from one stop to the next without needing to decide where to go after every page. Many MNKY Math pages are meant to stand on their own. Others become more meaningful when they are read in sequence. A Journey helps with that sequence.
A Journey does not replace the garden.
It gives the garden a path.
Each Journey is a way of saying:

→ Then go here.
→ Then keep going.
How Journeys Work
Each Journey begins with a summary page. This page explains what the Journey is for and points you toward the first stop.
Once you are on a Journey, a Journey card appears near the bottom of each page within the journey. The card shows the current Journey, your position in the sequence, and the previous or next stop when one is available.
You can follow the path directly, pause at any stop, or use previews and links to explore nearby ideas along the way.
The path is here to guide you.
Leaving a Journey
MNKY Math pages often include links to related ideas, definitions, neighbors, and supporting concepts.
Following links is encouraged.
But opening a link means stepping off the current Journey path and back into the wider garden.
If you want to explore a linked idea without leaving the Journey, use the preview feature. This lets you look sideways without losing the path forward.
If you do open a linked page, you can usually return using your browser’s back button, or return to the Journey summary page from the Explorer.
A path, not a tunnel
Journeys are structured, but they are not meant to trap you.
The garden remains open.
The links remain alive.
The path is there when you want it.
The wider system is there when you are ready to wander.
